this is a wonderful railroad bridge in bellows falls, vermont. years of travel resulted in tar melting on the ties and being spalshed onto the bridge. it then collected various debris and dried into the crusty balck-grey chunks that you see here.

    no cropping or post process here... this is as i took it. i'm a naturalist digital photographer and only crop if absolutely needed~
