Democracy looks like Tibetans living a free and chosen life, without suppression by *any* government. Free to be buddhists and free to choose the Dalai Lama as their spiritual leader.

Perfect timing here - he's clearly completely absorbed in, and in love with, what he's doing. There's a lot of peace in this image, it's a wonderful picture of Tibet to contrast to everything in newspapers etc.

Dennis, I've to agree, in the photo you send me Takeshi does bear a striking resemblance. There's no way though it could have been him, considering I was in a small tibetan village, rarely visited at the time I was there.
Trivia: the room where he was working was my bedroom that evening. Hospitality was the village's inhabitants second nature. -
