Lovely. I would love to sit on the porch for hours alone.

I like the leading lines of the road leading up to the house. I'm not so sure about living here though, that spooky tree and overgrown house make me think if there's anyone home maybe I should leave them be. Beautiful process. Looks like it could snow.

John, your photos are so well composed. They all look like paintings. Nice work.

John, I looked at this photo about four days ago and have been pondering it ever since. Certainly the mood is a grabber, and the mood is helped greatly by the color tone. At first I was bothered by the composition, so I copied the shot and played with it on my computer.... and came to the conclusion that you have composed the shot the only way you could. Even if you change your angle of view, you lose something that is necessary to the shot. The best I could come up with is cropping a bit off the right side of the photo. When all is said and done, this is a fine effort that whispers at the viewer.

This is very stirring in couple different ways that come together, creating an awe at the beauty you've captured here.

Now this is something that is appealing to the viewer, lonely, but lovely...
