Terminal Market, Brooklyn
One face of the historic Terminal Market Warehouse stands during demolitions following a massive fire which threatened a large section of Greenpoint. The contents of the warehouse at time of destruction, and the quantity and nature of contaminants released by the fire were unknown. From a series on land use in North Brooklyn and the proximity of sources of industrial contamination to residential areas. Colors are not manipulated, they are the result of several-hour exposures in various lighting/weather conditions.
In the Brooklyn Nights photo essay.
