This is an awesome shot. Talk about being at the right place at the right time.

Are you using a strobe there? That is absolutely fantastic.

Thanks so much everyone!!!
This shot was taken in my front yard. The water drops were already there, but to get these kinds of shots, I always pick a flower and have to place it just right to see the full flower through the drop. It can get tricky with my clumsy hands, all my camera gear and a couple of toddlers climbing all over me. Not much fun finding the perfect dew drop grouping, only to miss out on the shot because I've bumped it with the flower. :)
As for equipment Josh, I use my Canon Rebel XTi, Canon 100mm macro lens and a set of Kenko extension tubes. The only light I have is the built in flash.
I set the camera to manual mode, bump up the ISO to around 800, set the exposure to be really under exposed to get a faster shutter speed, then use the flash to compensate. When I try to set the exposure correctly to just use sunlight, the shutter speed is typically too slow for me to get a clear shot since these need to be hand held.
Thanks again for the comments everyone. :) -
