What began as an errant trash fire ended up scorching hundreds of acres on Walnut Mountain, in Madison County, NC. In this instance, the human impact on the environment came full circle, threatening to impact humans. Fortunately, no homes were lost.

It's a neat shot, authentic photojournalism with an added touch. The reciprocity shift is very attractive (in this instance) but the star trails really set it apart from the average.
