Ever since I was a little kid I would save turtles from the dangers of the streets. I would make my mom stop the car so I could remove the turtle from the road and potentially save its life. This little guy was on a gravel road in SC, so I placed him near the marshes. I hope the seaweed doesn't stay on his shell forever.
