Such a vivid contrast of natures impressed by the two bodies of soldiers and the person. Really a great documentary photograph with a visual sense of irony. The nature of man is perhaps displayed in the worst of it's mannerism and outcomes in this single frame?
"Born to fight for freedom only to live without a place of our own".
There seems to be a few looks in your direction, was there any disapproval met from the soldiers? -
