The Prisoner
We were at the zoo with the kids on a sunny sunday afternoon in June. It was the beginning of the polar bear show. The audience was staring at the empty pool when the bear suddendly appeared, producing quite an impression on everybody around. I saw the reflecting faces on the glass and what I felt as the sad expression on the bear's face and I clicked. This is unmanipulated of course.

Expression on the man's face just next to the bear's eye really adds to the meaning. Sad and impressive!

I haven't seen such great stuff for a long time. Despite the fact it fits to theme like hell, it has very bizzare, surreal feeling too. And it's sad. But I like it

Powerful, sad, approaching tragedy. As a species, we should collectively be ashamed. Very strong image!

the thing that makes this photo so great is the reflections of the people on the glass...love this photo
