Just after a snowmelt, I went for a hike. On my way to the trailhead, I noticed these leaves & reflected impressions which has since sent me researching tannis. The transformation of the leaves continually amazes me year to year. (P3)

Very well seen - tannins are incredible - in the spring, after a rain our sidewalks are stained from the live oak trees. Never anything this beautiful though!
