My three-legged friend, Yogi.
After being hit by a car, his previous owners allowed his leg to atrophy and drag for two years since he was no longer "a good hunting dog."
I adopted him two weeks after his amputation.

Yogi rocks, and so do you! Adopting a pet that has been in a neglectful home, is so rewarding! They really appreciate the love and kindness!

Good for you! We adopted our dog Billy from the vet. He had been hit by a car and has a broken hip. It healed with what the vet calls a false hip. He runs around the yard and jumps on the couch and bed like he's fine, but you can see the back left leg just swinging sometimes. It'll probably give him trouble when he gets older. He's part border collie, but no agility training and jumping for him. His specialty is snuggling. Have a good day and give beautiful Yogi a hug for me.
