the only way in which this has been photoshopped is by combining a few exposures to HDR. this scene actually exists: a mannequin (dressed up! so you know she's supposed to be there) inside a phone booth. in someone's front yard. not to be outdone, the garage behind her sports several signs and a traffic light.

this is simultaneously the most awesome and most sad picture i have ever taken in my life. taken while driving through a tiny town on the road to Pittsburgh. i was in the car with my family when we spotted this. my dad actually turned around and pulled off the side of the road so i could get a good picture. you can see our car in the reflection of the phone booth.

i simply cease to be surprised by things people do anymore...

    I am super impressed and beside myself with lack of understanding why this shot has only two comments, three counting mine and only 4 faves! I believe this presentation should have won several awards but maybe it is just because the image provokes such intense feelings in my heart, the key to that sentence is "my" heart. Maybe this image does not grab others such as it does myself!
