In the Master's of Photography Program at University of Houston, I was often forced to used deconstruction as a means to make my photos because I had two professors so inclined. I hated it - despised the notion that photography was so dead, nothing new or beautiful was possible, and then, that all that was left was repition for the sake of repitition. I rebelled. Badly. So then, there's YOUR notion of deconstrction, which still contains the remarkable photo, only altered and in slices. THIS, I would have gladly embraced.
