Thrilla in Manila.

Following the bout, Ali collapsed on the canvas, then rose in a classic pose, unmarked by the grueling match. Frazier, on the other hand, was badly battered.
Although sportswriters advance the romantic myth that it might have been The Thrilla that contributed to Ali's Parkinson's Syndrome, he appeared more overcome by The Hot Humid Philippine Climate. His Rope-A-Dope strategy was more likely the cause. He allowed George Foreman to batter his body until his surprise ploy. A doctor of sports medicine pointed out how the brain bounces around the skull upon a heavyweights blow anywhere on the body, similar to a cocktail shakers.

Ali is one of my all time idols and the fact that you got to cover the fight astounds me. Its inspiring to think that maybe i won't be the richest man in the world, but that i can have a moment and time where i knew I captured greatness from behind my lens. My envy and admiration runs deep. Thank you for your story, it really meant alot to me.
