  Photography renders three dimensions very unusually. This interests me a great deal. An object, the tree, rendered in front of a flat wall seems to be even flatter! The element that entices my interest is the fact that the object and the shadow seem to intermingle. There is a shadow of the object and the object itself. Additionally, I love the shadow of objects missing from the view i.e. the “power or phone poles.” These shadows echo the objects and make for an interesting disturbance in reality. The play of chiaroscuro is wonderful! Kudos!
