Q: My sister in-law recently gave me a Canon EOS 10D digital camera body. Having only used point and shoot cameras, what would be a good beginners lens to get for this camera? Should I get kit lens to start with?

A: Do you know?

    Thanks for the comments!
The _real_ colors were incredible & I wanted to get more exposures. A security guard, however, watching me kneeling down to shoot, felt it was too much & ordered me _away_.
Kneeling down & shooting out a casino door can be a suspicious subject nowadays. I can understand, sort of (what with all the cell phone cameras out there!)
    But, really...

Worth having risked your life for, before that mean guard ran you off!

Love this shot! Yes it is a no no to take picture in a casino or near a casino. I've been told not to take pictures in a casino before too, something about the fact that you could be preparing to rob them....
