My daughter was in the NICU unit for some time when she was born. These people are truly heroic. I do admire this picture.

Dr. Lemon was honored by out newspaper, the Indianapolis Business Journal, as one of the area's Health Care Heroes. He has spent months in Kenya to establish Riley Children's Hospital there as well as help to raise the funding to keep it operating. This is all in addition to the work he does for children here. He's a very remarkable person. This was a portrait that I shot to illustrate the award from our paper.

What a truly remarkable and moving portrait. It is so often hard to combine the artistic sensibility with the job of doing photojournalistic work, and yet, here it is. It speaks much, much of your work that you are able to link the two - the artist at work and the photojournalist, capturing required shots. His face is so kind, and look at that tiny life being saved? I am so moved by this. That's what photography is all about, and you, Robin, have succeeded. Thank you.
