    thanks Klaus! these buggers are even harder to photograph than the Red Shouldered Hawk, always flitting before the shutter snaps!

    Great shot Dennis! I have to say, some woodpeckers are pecking holes in the redwood siding of my house!! They only have a red circle on the top of their head. I keep trying to capture them, but they are too quick!! :)

    Did you see how big it is... hehehe Giant! Finally I was able to get a shot of it. Really there are several that hangout here. I am sure though that the one that I captured is one of the culprits, caught him in the act!
