Gen. Douglas MacArthur
This picture may not look impressive, but the noonday sun lent shadows that made their features indistinct. I was too far away for fill-in flash. Shot with a 200 mm. Takumar f.3.5 lens. Plus X. Overexposed and under-developed in Microdol.
In the story An Unappreciated Gem. and the story Falling Through The Cracks..

This is an unbelievable image, if you ask me you did a fantastic job with the equiptment you had at the time! Gen. MacArthur in my eyes was one of the most patriotic, couragous americans who ever lived. He presided over the Japanese surrender on the U.S.S Missouri bringing the end of World War 2.

Wow this picture IS impressive! It reminds me of a picture of MacArthur that my grandfather kept on his desk. My grandfather served in the USAFFE under MacArthur in Bataan and Corregidor and was a survivor of the Death March. MacArthur was almost God-like to the Filipino WW2 veterans.
