I went to florida two-february's ago and stayed at my sister's apartment. Well, in her complex they have a few dock areas that allow for people to go sit on the river (dock = patio above river). There was this huge bird, a Heron, that was constantly wading in the water around that particular dock each time I came by... One day, I noticed a small horseshoe crab shell/exoskeleton/whatever. I wanted to climb down the dock into the river to get it, but the bird frightened me. Then, I noticed an even BIGGER horseshoe crabb shell/exoskeleton/whatever right next to the small one. Needless to say, I climbed down and got in the murky water... squishy moss and mud between my toes and all. As I got closer to the horseshoe crabs, the Heron got closer to me. This thing obviously had no respect for personal boundaries. I started to panick and grabbed both crabs and took off. Instead of climbing up the dirt hill I had climbed down originally, I just climbed up the dock itself and flung myself over. The hill would have taken longer and the bird could have killed me :x Scarrryyyy. Anyway, I saw this horseshoe crab alive in an aquarium and snapped the shot. It's hard to notice, but you can see his little claws toward the right-center side of this picture.
