Another shot from the "driver's seat" on my way across Wyoming last month.
This will be the last winter road shot for a while in this series and I have also included this image in my recent YouTube video titled "A Trucker's View of America".
Thanks to all who have commented on these road images over the past several months and I apologize for any errors at the end of this video regarding credits. This was my first attempt using the movie maker software and it seems after saving the video's format you can't make changes without starting all over. :(
It also appears all of my credits/friends who have longer than 17 characters in their names will be truncated not to mention a less than smooth transitional scroll... but it was fun to play with and you know who I am referring to. : - )
Hope everyone is beginning to get a little relief of Spring fever and has a pleasant and safe week ahead.

When I drove a delivery truck for a living I got a few of these snowy road shots, but getting a good shot of blowing snow is more difficult than it seems.

You ever gone over highway 24 west of Colorado Springs? I have seen it like this and white outs going to Gunnison when 285 is closed at Kenosha and I have to find an alternate route to get to 50 to go west over Monarch Pass. But this is my daughters last semester at Western State and then hopefully it will be graduate school near Seattle and Dad won't have to do this anymore. But then who knows what the future brings. I am getting to old for much more of this stuff.

! Slimeface said (7 Sep 2008):
Hey Klaus, fortunately my company pays and permits me to run I-80 so I don't have to travel through Colorado much. However in the summer I will for a change of scenery. The winter is brutal for all but in a big truck it's a whole new game that I rather not play! :)

Dont get me wrong, have definately captured a sunset out the side while driving, even captured one reflected in my side mirror. But the roads didnt look like this.lol sounds like you have a stable place to set the camera up, of course unless you use a remote you still have to take a hand off the wheel to hit the shutter.
