My Savior, Jesus Christ
This is a picture of a statue of Jesus Christ, taken at the Salt Lake City Temple Square. Originally, the statue's head was facing toward the heavens, and his hands were facing upward. The people it was commissioned for didn't like it that way and told the sculptor to change it. The clay was still wet when he showed it to them. So, he figured he'd break it down and start the next day. Well, come to find out, the next morning he came into the workshop to find this... The head was too heavy, and sank to face down, and the hands had twisted to face downward as well. The sculptor loved it this way, and showed it to his commissioners again, and they loved it too. Hence, we now have one of MY personal favorite statues of Jesus Christ.
