One of my favorite vacations ever was the first time I flew to New York City, alone, with only the company of my camera (and about ten million strangers walking hurriedly along beside me). I walked the streets with no destination in mind whatsoever. On my second day there I painstakingly traveled on foot from Battery Park to Central Park, aiming my camera at anything that caught my eye, such as this interesting looking lady. I imagine she is a die hard and life-long resident of New York!

In some wierd way I think this shot has the element....the old lady reminds you of someone who is so in love with fashion and her public persona that she wont let go, even though she is way past the age...voted.
