this is deceptively simple to the point of being cryptic. i like how you captured a scene that allows itself to be interpreted in different ways. namely as it relates to that gate and the road. i keep trying to imagine whether i am coming or going through the gate, and how my direction effects the role of the gaurdian atop the post. very clever, alexis.
