Q: I am really into my wildlife photography but cannot afford a super zoom lens, I have a 300mm and am considering a teleconvertor. Has anybody had a experience with these and would you recommend them?

A: Do you know?

A study of my Grandmother's photo with the camera that took the photo...I TOOK this photo with another camera like this (I collect antique cameras), on TRI-X 120 film, and printed this on fiber gelatin silver paper in my dark room. Long live Black and White photography - be it digital, or "old timey" dark room! Black and whiteimages are stripped away of all seductive distractions, and what is left behind is the essence of the photo - a moment captured, in black, white, and gray. The mind fills in the color. Or not...
