Apparently it is native to the regions of : S. Angola, S.E. Zaire and through Zimbabwe to N.E. South Africa. I was lucky enough to be able to see it in Florida. :)
I took several shots of this bird in action and was fortunate that it chose to pose for me at this moment. I do love the colors.
