If by rotated you mean having the chicks rotate inside the jar, here's what you could do: Put magnets inside them, and have an external magnet rotate underneath.

As a “chick” I feel I need to say something here. Magnets can become very tricky when used for rotating purposes, especially when yellow fluids, glass, and tiny beaks are involved. However I do support the idea of perhaps throwing a rooster in-between the two chicks. Any variety of position and/or rotation can be applied with that theory. And I doubt cropping would be necessary. Thanks Danny for bringing out the “Monster” in all of us. :)
