Serge, these actually are my friend's birds, and she lets them out all the time. They sparrow even sits on her keyboard while she's trying to use the computer. It loves her so much! They just like perching in the cages she has about the house. The doors are generally left open for them, hehe.

Also, the parakeet is cripple (think he was born that way) and he cannot move much. He would die in the wild. The sparrow was also a rescued bird ... not sure about the dark canary, but generally her pets are ones that she rescued and are not able to be released into the wild again. She has been able to release some, though. Thanks for looking!
