This was taken March 1, 2008 in Logan, Utah.
It was a Saturday that started out very warm and Spring-like, especially with the dry climate. I remember wanting to call my Mom in Alabama to rub it in that it was warmer by far for us, than it was for them.
Before I could, this winter storm blew in. It started snowing, and the temperature dropped suddenly.
All the stores that had been busy started to slooooow down and I heard many complaints from people about how much they hated snow, or how sick they were of winter.
I love the snow, though, so I was having a great time!

I guess it's the inconsistency which makes people tick - but then again, we're talking about nature :) Nice shot Melissa!!!

Thanks Portia. It's snowing again today, hehe! The only thing that bothers me about it, is I'm job-hunting and have no car right now, so between the bus and walking, I'll show up looking a bit snowed on and wind-blown to interviews. Oh well!

Nice shot, Melissa! I haven't been to Logan since right out of Junior High School in the early 70's...
