Macleod and Proud

Nothing turns a lassies head round more in Scotland than a man in the kilt. The sound of the pipes and the sight of the plaid stirred many a man into extra effort in battle and frightened the enemy before a shot was fired.

Not only did you capture their fashionable kilts, you capture their expression well too. My vote.

The contrast in this shot is perfect. I also like the moment of the capture.

Darling Fraser, the appeal to a woman of Scot descent towards the kilt does, indeed, NOT end at the ocean separating us! See this when you've a moment: http://www.jpgmag.com/stories/4596.
As for this marvellous pic - it moves me greatly, though I cannot now be stirred by the pipes' melancholy sound. I can feel it in the photograph, though, and wish I had been there. Those tartans there are really beautiful, too. We wear the Baird tartan here. But in the story I've sent, that's my husband in his County Kerry tartan, since he is Irish AND Scot. (Cullins).
Thank you for this - it brings us Yanks closer to "home!"

Dare I addd that the full, puffy, high hats are EXACTLY what was needed to attract my eye to an otherwise boring, understated and drab outfit! HAHAHA!

And, aye, Laura, the appeal of a lad in a kilt does indeed NOT end at the female gender!
    Nice shot, Fraser.
