Earl Grey Chocolate Chip Muffin with Walnut Shavings

So the other day I was craving for something sweet to go with tea and then I thought, "hey, maybe I could make tea-flavored sweets". This is what came up, a chocolate chip muffin recipe infused with Earl Grey and with some Walnut shavings/mashed.

It is not as sweet as the regular chocolate chip muffin, though admittedly, it is still quite sweet (I might have to adjust the recipe later on), and the subtle taste of Earl Grey blends well. Bits of crushed walnuts helped give it a little crunch too!

Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup brown sugar (I used light)
1/4 cup white sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup full-cream milk
1/2 cup butter (preferably room temperature)
2 egg, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
12 ounce chocolate chips (I used dark to offset the Earl Grey flavor), packaged or roughly chopped
6 grams Earl Grey tea leaves (boiled and strained)
Walnut shavings (as much as you want, but be careful with the chopping)

I'll upload the procedure as soon as I've finished writing it down. =)
