Hill of Crosses
This photo is hot! Share it!
Between Klaipeda and Vilnius there lays the 'Mecca of Lithuania', the hill of crosses. Attempts to detroy the pilgrimage spot proved the hill of crosses indestructable. Time after time new crosses were erected and now literally hundreds of thousands of crosses are there to be seen. Some are made out of wood, others out of metal. Some expensive others cheap but together they form an impressive unity. The wheather is gloom which suits the spot

My wife is Lithuanian, so I've been there. One of the more amazing spots on the planet. Looks like you had a nice overcast day for shooting. My day there was sunny and cloudless which made photography quite difficult.
