A picture of the main water fall at Anderson Falls Nature Preserve located approximately 15 miles outside Columbus, Indiana. The falls itself is approximately 12 feet high and 100 feet wide. As a child, this was our favorite ‘swimming hole’ where we’d ride our bike to for a day of swimming, hiking and rock jumping. My friends and I would climb the rocks and go into the waterfall where there is a small rocky ledge to stand on. You can actually stand inside the waterfall on a ledge looking out at the water coming over the rocks above your head, with the water flowing just a couple inches from your nose! I didn’t try that on this particular day, but just wait for the day that I get the water proof casing for my camera!
