This shot has quite a bit of sentimental value for me. I took this picture of my dog, Sparky back in high school. This is the only time I got him to stay still long enough to get his picture. I guess 1/250th of a second is a long time in dog years. Sparky was a very special dog to my family, my father rescued him as a puppy from some people who were about to beat him to death. I got him when I was 3 and we grew up together. Sparky passed away in 2005 at 19 years old. Although I still miss him very much, I know he lived a good long life with us. As long as I have this photo, I will never forget him. 8 x 11mm, Minopan 100.

The soft focus and the pattern of light and shadow on the wall of the house subtly and visually connects the dog to that building....very nicely done!
