I missed a turn on the way home from Coromandel Peninsula and ended up in a little town called Paeroa.

Home to a 'fizzy' drink that is, according to it's advertising "World Famous in New Zealand". This huge Lemon & Paeroa bottle is a replica of the 1980's bottles that had a metal cap. It has its own park which has recently been refurbished. No longer the bland little road side car park of my youth, now there are landscaped gardens and pretty mosaic layouts on a 'photographer safe' off street concrete area just big enough for a tourist snap.

If I could have stayed about 4 more hours the light would have been perfect for a study of the largest and furtherest mosaic - a slice of lemon. This was taken at 1pm and the high sun was casting shadows where I really didn't want them.
