  No, Karen.....Chantee IS a purebred....she's what is called a "Deer-faced" Chihuahua. Celina is an "Apple-head" or "Apple-dome" Chi. The "Deer-faced" are a little longer of snout and leg and a little smaller in the forehead and have softer, soleful eyes. They do look a little "deer-like."
