I was trying to take photo's of people like Richard Avedon did for his book and show "The American West". This gentleman was walking around asking for handouts, and I asked If I could take his picture for a show, and he agreed, but would not tell me his name because he was in fear of having the police called on him for panhandling in front of the grocery store.
