Bluebottle
All washed up and nowhere to go (until the tide comes back in).
In other parts of the world these creatures are known as Portugese Man o' War. Their tentacles can reach up to 10 metres trailing behind as they float on the water. They are often washed up on the shores of ocean beaches, and it is a very good idea to stay out of the water when they are about, as they pack an extremely nasty sting, which at times requires recusitation of the stung individual.
