I spent about a hour waiting for the sun to set. I loved that these two kids...only one ended up in this shot...and their father were sitting down by the boat ramp fishing right in perfect position for their sillouete. I proubably took 100 pictures of them and maybe just10 of the actual sunset. I was loving it all the while. Don't we all wish we could be as carefree as this little boy.

A gorgeous photograph in all respects, a ”tells a story“ photograph, let's get this out of the way. I don't always know what I'm doing (I'm more a 'shoot from the heart' kinda guy), but I can sure tell someone who does... And Donna's also helped me realize a crucial ingredient of photography, something seldom realized even when practiced. Pacience. Pacience to wait for the shot your mind's eye anticipated, to stand your ground 'n squeeze that shutter gently & wihtout haste.
