    thanks guys! hah, i wish i was this adept with a pinhole. it is actually a digital shot taken at 3200 ISO, though it looks a little film-y. i usually don't like really grainy digital photos, but for me this image was the utter embodiment of this warm summer night out walking in the polish countryside near the farm where i was staying. since i live in new york i rarely even see the stars, much less photograph them. but the stars in this place were so clear and bright, it was amazing.

    the grain looks so natural! usually digital cameras screw up 3200 ISO & make the image look pixelated. the soft focus here is beautiful & that's why i thought it was a pinhole. great job!
