An Answer for Leanna L.
This is Shirley and thank you for being concerned about her. She is about 8 months old, and she was in fact, a stray. I found her abandoned at the edge the orchard you in an earlier picture. It was freezing and she probably would have frozen to death that night. She is an extraordinary girl with a great sense of humour and playfulness which is why I got a shot of her looking like a mad dog in the other picture. But she has a great life and lots of sisters and brothers! She's cooking with gas!
