Starry Sky of Tofino
Taken in April 2008 from the balcony of the hotel room in Tofino with a Canon 20D and a 28-105mm lens at 28mm. I looked up online to find out the kind of exposure I needed. I ended up taking two images that night and this one was exposed at f/8 for 5532 seconds! That's about 92 minutes. The trees were lit by the dim light coming out of the hotel and the motion blur at the bottom of the image is the crashing waves of the Pacific. Great place for photography!

wow. Speechless. This is absolute beauty in it's purest form. Trees are perfectly lit...ocean is soothingly blurred...stars are delicately traced... and being in tofino on top of all that...
