Q: Story of the week

A: Do you know?

Outside my front door one morning, i kept hearing a ruckus going on. This little monster I found out had been robbing Hummingbird nests, and the ruckus was the Hummingbirds trying to get him to leave. The jay just sat there as they swarmed him like gnats - totally not caring. He knew he had a buffet and wasn't ready to leave.

    Natalie S gave props (28 May 2008):

I loved this shot ( still is beautiful) - but what a nasty fellow disguised so beautifully
