In tiny Oku village in the farthest reaches of northern Okinawa, the Koi (carp) stringers stretched across the valley exceeds the population of the village by nearly double. People come by the tour bus load to see it every year during the "Golden Week" celebrations held Japan-wide April 29th through May 5th.
