When I spend time in New York which is a couple of months I tend to spend quite a bit of time shooting in Brooklyn and the Dumbo area is one of my most favorit spots to both shoot images and chill. Next to Manhattan but seperated by the East River it's close but not to close, it's not to busy, it still has this edgy, gritty feel of the 60's-70's and the people are pretty much the same, especially to outsiders :). Still I like to sit down at the Superfine Cafe on Water street, the staff is not that pleasant but..the food is good and I love the Brooklyn Brewery Lager. The cafe has this feel to it, hard to describe but I just love sitting there and just sit, contemplate my next project and just be.

Thanks all. This was one of the works I showed at my first Dutch Exhibition in January. I sold one and decided that I wanted to have one in my own living room...so I had a big 8 feet by 6 feet print made and had it put on dibond (sandwich of aluminum and foam) and laminated...love the look and "feel" of it. Glad you enjoy it as much as I do.
