Last Portrait of Grandfather and Grandson

We received word last night that my precious father-in-law is in active heart failure.

He is at home where he wishes to stay to the end of his life. He is mostly sleeping and has a lot of swelling due to fluid retention.

This photo was taken this past sunday, April 27,2008, at dad's 88th Birthday Party. My son LOVES his grandfather and wanted to sit with him for a while.

LOL...no family resemblance there AT ALL !!! JK !!!

We love you dad...we will surely miss you...go in peace. May God guide you to your rest.

We very much enjoyed being with Dad this past sunday, Sherry. Tuesday evening his bp dropped and he has been sleeping most of the time, unable to stay awake for any longer then a few mins. at a time. We love him now and will always love him.
