No one takes the sign seriously. Surfers climb down into the water, joggers run along the edge, and idiots build houses just a few short yards from the retreating seacliff.

    Your pictures trigger many distant but memorable moments for me. Like pausing to watch the sunrise halfway down then slowly realizing the cliff was literally, imperceptibly, shifting, crumbling and tumbling down all around me. Like watching the minute hand on a clock the movement of the cliff was imperceptible yet pieces of the cliff above never stopped tumbling by. The power of nature is awesome! The foresight of man is something else.
