Finding Faith

Things are never so complicated as they seem. Most of us don't change simply because we choose not to. For those of you who are struggling with issues you want to overcome, please don't interpret that statement as blaming you. In fact, it is simply stating that no matter how you got where you are, with faith, you can empower yourself to change.

Yes, I understand that you wouldn't knowingly set limits upon yourself. There are barriers in your way, often that you didn't place there yourself. There are others that appear, and you aren't sure if you placed them or not.

Perhaps your teacher, your boss, a parent, or a friend told you that you "can't." Or, "that's not really you." Or the killer, "you need to be realistic." Many a dream died a sad death because the child within decided to be grown-up, realistic.

So, let's be realistic, let's do.

No matter who has placed barriers before you, only YOU can keep them there. (Y'all don't hear me.) I said, no matter who has placed barriers in front of you, if you have faith in yourself, and in God, no one can keep them there. YOU have to decide the obstacles are permanent. The difference between a dead end and a detour is the faith to look for another way.

There is no such thing as what you don't know. There is only what you don't know - yet.

Wake up tomorrow morning, Decide you can. Then start. You must talk it into being. Your heart to God: "I choose to rise. I choose to win. I no longer accept my failings. And though I've stumbled before, and will again, I will rise. I will rise. I will rise."

Believe you can. All things are possible with faith, and through sweat. You will never remain bad at anything you've chosen to get good at. Some things take work. Most things take time. All things take faith.

God keep you strong.
