Hot! In Entropy

Big concrete boxes, whose rigid division of communal space into inhumanely small segments triggers the notion of yet another partition: the atomization of our communities, families, social bonds… The notion of entropy in our society parallels the idea of inevitable social decline and degeneration. Despite the hopeful potential of the blue heaven reflected in multiple windows, the feeling of suffocating homogeneity and anonymousness leaves us disenchanted. These are houses, not homes.

Well said. I always feel as if these kinds of dwellings mirror & prepare us for our eventual coffins.
