Hitchhiking on top of the world
Traveling to Sakya took me being dropped off in the middle of no-where y a local bus, waiting for that one vehicle that would take me, illegally, along to the small town. After close to an hour some German tourists were prepared to take me for the last 25KM, although their driver wasn't recommending by-passing the law for my sake.
These places have left me lovely memories of solitude in landscapes barely real for a guy who's been brought up in the 4th city of Holland, a wealthy and flat country.
